HAPPY GANDHI JAYANTI
Today, I am going to share a few words about Gandhi Jayanti, which is celebrated every year on 2nd October to mark the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, the Father of the Nation.
Mahatma Gandhi was born on 2nd October 1869 in Porbandar, Gujarat. He played an important role in India's freedom struggle and believed in truth, peace, and non-violence.
Gandhi Ji taught us that we should always speak the truth, respect others, help those in need, and live a simple life. His teachings continue to inspire millions of people around the world.
On this special occasion, schools celebrate Gandhi Jayanti through speeches, songs, cultural programmes, and cleanliness activities. We can honour his memory by keeping our school and surroundings clean and treating everyone with kindness.
Let us promise to follow the path of truth and non-violence and become responsible citizens of our country.
Thank you, and Happy Gandhi Jayanti to everyone!
Jai Hind!
